Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Speech Relay. By signing in you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

The service

Speech Relay turns speech into text as you speak, and can separate several speakers. Today it is available as a free playground; API access opens later under these terms and published prices.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may limit how much you use the free playground.

Your content and consent

You keep all rights in your audio and transcripts. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. You must have the right to record and submit the audio, and you must tell the people in it, and get their consent, where the law requires it. You are responsible for claims that arise because you did not.

What you must not do

Do not submit unlawful content, use the service to identify or track people without their consent, try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or resell it without our permission.

Saving and deleting

Saving, retention and deletion work as described in the Privacy Policy. You can turn saving off and delete saved sessions yourself at any time.

Transcripts can be wrong

Transcripts come from machine learning and can contain errors, especially with overlapping speech, noise, accents or poor recordings. Check anything that matters. The service is provided as is, without a promise that it will always be available or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Speech Relay is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits or business interruption.

Ending use

You can stop at any time and delete your account from the dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we will change the date above and give notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. Questions: contact@speechrelay.online.
